Katie’s main goal as a teacher is to encourage her students to develop a deeper relationship with themselves. She encourages breath, alignment and mindful movement throughout class. She initially tried a yoga class as an “easy” workout after falling into a cycle of non activity and unhealthy eating, but soon learned there was much more to the practice. Physically, the practice allowed her to reconnect with her body and find new strengths and abilities. Mentally, the practice helped calm anxieties and find joy in everyday life. Katie completed her 200 hr teacher training through Sacred Seeds Yoga School. She truly believes in the power of vinyasa yoga and looks forward to helping each student find their true self.
